The Amstel Chapter is growing! This week we welcomed our 150th member. Not bad for a Harley Owners Group (HOG) that was only founded in 2022. It won’t stop here! We are bursting with ambition. This becomes clear from what we offer at the Amstel Bar, located on the first floor of our HD dealer at the Jarmuiden in Amsterdam. Take a look. Especially on Saturday afternoon it is very cozy here.
And also from the ride-outs that are organized. On Sunday August 25, the Texel round was on the agenda for the first time. In terms of organization, a bit more of a challenge because of the number of participants, the boat and the BBQ on the beach. We are happy to take on this challenge as Amstel Chapter. We get a lot of fun and satisfaction from organizing the activities as well as possible. That makes riding a Harley Davidson, with many like-minded people, even more fun, beautiful and intense.
Fortunately, the weather gods were kind to us. What a beautiful day. It was an early gathering at McDonalds at 08.30. This is next to a gas station so everyone immediately filled their tank. After a proper introduction, also about maintaining correct riding formations and safe following distances, the tour continued through the beautiful North Holland landscape to Den Helder. The boat tickets had already been purchased so the checking in went smoothly. After this we had a beautiful tour through Texel with various photo moments. And what a sight! A string of 30 Harleys makes an impression. A real attraction. The BBQ in Beachclub Texel was delicious and well taken care of. After this the return trip to come home at the end of the afternoon after a wonderful day.
